Joanna Jones qualified as a Hygienist from King's College in 1995 and works part time in a private practice in Covent Garden, London.
She has also taught at the GKT Dental Institute since 1996, achieving promotion to the level of deputy principal tutor, in addition to working clinically in practice. Her interest in the area of dental education led her to complete a degree in post compulsory education with honours. She gained the additional qualification of Dental Therapist, a skill she uses regularly, performing routine dental procedures on children and some simple restorative work on adults in the clinical environment.

Mhari Coxon qualified from Kings Dental Institute in 1996 and continued her connection working clinically as part of the periodontal department. After a break to have her three children, she returned to GKT as a clinical tutor. Since 2005 she changed to working full time clinically in Private Practice in central London.
Mhari writes for Dental Tribune monthly, has had several articles published on various subjects and lectures regionally and nationally regularly. She was Probe Awards Dental Hygienist of the year in 2006. She sits on the editorial Board of Preventive dentistry magazine, and supports the BSDHT as part of the publishing committee of Dental Health, BSDHT London groups’ chairman, and was elected council member of the BSDHT in 2006 and 2007.
